Treatments using donated gametes

For some patients their option is to use donated eggs or sperm to attempt fertility treatment.

Egg Recipient Cycles

Below are the success rates for the last five years of egg recipient cycles, per cycle started at The Hull IVF Unit and from the HFEA national data for which we are consistent with.  These results are regardless of treatment type and egg recipient age.

The results from 2014 is the most recent data, therefore the results have not yet been validated by the HFEA, but we like to keep you informed of our current success rates.

Donor Sperm Cycles

Donor sperm is generally used in a fresh treatment cycle alongside IVF, but occasionally donor sperm can be used in an IUI cycle.

Below are the clinic pregnancy rates for 2014 and the live birth rates for 2013 were donor sperm was used.
